This week: Adeke Rose
Silent agony
If you hear me screaming
Just disregard it
It’s just me trying to get inside myself
I’ll swallow my agony
And bury my tears
And appear controlled
In my silence
The visions cut like knives
And I bleed feelings
That leave me naked
And powerless
The scars appear large
My stolen womb
Cries out remembering
My skin burns with memory
One touch could shatter
One touch could strengthen
Russian roulette
With my insane sanity
If you hear me screaming
Just disregard it.
It’s just me trying
To get inside myself.
